Studying & analyzing the level of positive development Toastmasters Program can devote to its members not only, in the, communication & leadership skills, but in all aspects of life, I can firmly confirm as many times earlier, the TM program is considered a strengthen tool in our Professional Careers. The different skills and abilities members of the TM program do gain in their participation to carry out the required duties; TM program does fulfill a major area in the Training & Development aspects “Development by Practice“.

I noticed throughout my involvement in the TM program that, a large segment of our members concentrate greatly in delivering the required speech projects assigned in the communication manuals- which is a must. But, with that active concentration and high commitment- in the communication track, they at the same time- to a certain level do not devote a similar attention to the other important roles like evaluations, masters of the meeting, general evaluation- which from my point of view do carry a great value in our endeavourers to improve as professionals.

In today fast changing world, corporate do require more true leader who live, work and lead by example. Such leaders can be trained, developed and ultimately reflect the so called “Exemplary Leaders“.

Such efforts are truly manifested in the Toastmasters Int. Program. Roles like evaluation cannot be properly implemented without “Positive Listening Skills” and “Genuine Personal Attitude”. Such personal qualities are very important in any leadership competencies. We need leaders to understand their followers` needs and requirements- at the end of the day organizations do consider their human resources as their back-bone towards success. And those HR do need their leaders to be positive listeners and genuine in their attitudes.

From my point of view- such competencies could be learnt and developed in TM Program by accepting and practicing roles like, evaluation, master of the meeting, general evaluation.

TM International Program was, still and will be one of the right platforms for professionals interested in better professional careers and at the same utilize the right learning atmosphere to be able leaders within organizations, community and society in general.

So fellow Toastmasters, try your maximum best level to concentrate in all the different roles the TM program offers in the regular meetings and devote your time, effort and energy to the leadership track as similar to the communication track.
